“God is to me that creative force, behind and in the universe, who manifests Himself as energy, as life, as order, as beauty, as thought, as conscience, as love.

Henry Sloane Coffin, quoted at globalstewards.org 4/27/14

Manifestation began with God, according to many belief systems. God was the first cause, and God created from God’s Self. God is LOVE and all that was created is made from LOVE. Humanity was also given the ability to manifest, and we were given free will. This creative aspect of humanity is sometimes called co-creation with God, for we create with and from our God Self.

Near-death experiencers say that, in heaven, what they wish for becomes manifest immediately, though they don’t experience need often. They think of someone, and they are immediately with that person. They ask a question, and the answer forms in their mind as soon as it is asked.

On earth, we humans have the ability to manifest as well. One difference is that it takes longer to manifest on Earth. So, once we intend something, we have time to refine our idea or cancel it before it becomes manifest. This can be helpful to us, but it can also cause frustration and disappointment.

When we intend something, it is best for it to be a positive statement, and clear, not ambiguous. Then, by expressing gratitude for its manifestation every time we think of it, the manifestation moves forward, albeit at Earth speed.  If, on the other hand, we begin to doubt or backpedal, we may change our intention so much that what manifests does not match our original intention. We must be patient and courageous as we manifest our hearts’ desires.

“God, help me be clear in my own mind and in my statement of intention about what I want. Then give me the courage and patience to never waiver or detract from my intention. Thank you for creating with me all that I desire or need. Let your will and mine be congruent. Thank you, God. I love you.”
